Reeves is a European-type plum. It has a less elongated shape than many similar varieties being more rounded, but is recognisible by its purple-red colouration and pale green-yellow background. The skin is thin and smooth, and the pale yellow flesh becomes fairly soft when ripe. Flavour and sweetness are good without being spectacular.
Reeves is a mid-season plum.
