An attractive blushed pear with sweet white flesh. Flamingo is an early season variety and is among the first to be picked in South Africa, it’s main area of production. Flamingo is very similar to Rosemarie, also from South Africa.
Ripening: leave in your fruit bowl until a slight ‘give’ can be detected. Once at this stage, they need eating otherwise will over-ripen.
