Black Seedless (Jumbo)

Black Seedless is a variety of black grape that has never been given a specific name.

The berries are medium sized and elliptoid shape. The colour is a uniform dark black. The skinis quite noticeable on biting through and gives a fairly crunchy experience to eating the fruit. The skin can be quite bitter and astringent on chewing, but many people could find this an attractive counterbalance to the sweet soft flesh. Sweetness is good, but flavour is not strong.

Black Seedless from India is an attractive and enjoyable grape, especially for people who like a dash of bitterness to balance the sweetness of a fruit.
