Arra 29 is a red seedless grape. The berries are medium to large in size and have a slightly elongated round shape with flattening towards the stem-end. The colour is red-pink, some with slight darkening to magenta and there is a sense of an underlying pale yellow. On biting into the berry, the immediate sensation is of slight crispness and a minor tang of acidity followed by a good sweetness and a fullness to the flesh. The skin has minimal resistance and confers no sense of astringency. The flavour is neutral.
Grapaes describe the variety as an early red seedless variety with exceptional eating quality. It has large, crisp berries, a medium sized bunch and an excellent natural, cherry color. Ripening at the same time as Flame, it is considered the best Flame replacement. The extraordinary shelf life, high fertility and shipping durability makes it the growers’ preferable early red.
