Description: A deliciously crisp apple notable for its sweetness. The naming may have been influenced by the well-known custard product, and there is something in the comparison. Ambrosia are for those of us with a sweet tooth, who will be very satisfied and not troubled by any challenging acidity.
Origin: British Columbia. A chance seedling from Jonagold. Registered in 1993 by Wilfred Minnell.

Harvest & Availability: As a relatively new variety, Ambrosia is not widely available due to limited volumes. However, it is available in premium supermarkets in UK for much of the year.
