Adora is a seedless black grape with large round berries. The colour is purple-black, sometimes with a hint of paleness around the stem-end. The skin is thin with little resistance on biting, though can be felt while chewing, while the flesh is fairly firm without necessarily being crisp. Sweetness levels are good, though flavour in minimal.
Growers are attracted to Adora Seedless due to its late-season harvest (10-14 days after Autumn Royal), large berries and excellent storage potential.
Good Fruit Guide Rating: ***
