Candy Dreams (IFG 22)

Category:

Candy Dreams is a seedless black grape with small to medium sized berries. The berries are round in shape, occasionally elliptoid with a red-black to black colouration. The skin is easy to bite through and offers little resistance and almost no astringency on chewing. The flesh is fairly soft and very juicy. The flavour is immediately recognisable as Labrusca-like, and there is excellent sweetness with a small amount of balancing acidity. Soluble solid levels are normally about 20oBrix but can be as high as 25-30o.
