The Kweli raspberry variety produces large, round berries of a mid-red colouration, which darkens slightly after harvest. The flavour is good, often with a slighlty dry mouth-feel. Shelf-life is good.
The variety is harvested mid-season, slightly later than Polka, and is good for double cropping.
Ripening & Quality: When purchasing Kweli, berries should appear firm with no juice or signs of collapse.
Origin: Bred in UK, but developed in The Netherlands and Albania. Kweli is a registered variety of Advanced Berry Breeding, and is marketed by Mieosis.
