A strawberry variety that is fairly commonly grown in England. The fruit are impressive in appearance, classically conical shaped, and verging on large, with an attractive red colouration and prominent seeds. The texture is firm, almost solid with little in the way of juice, and the flavour is subdued with a fair level of sweetness.
Origin: Valor is a patented variety. It was selected in Ventura County, California in 2003 following an extensive breeding programme by Stephen Ackerman, Steven Nelson and Michael Nelson.
