Italia Seeded

Although this grape has a few seeds, it is popular in much of mainland Europe. The plump berries are juicy, soft and have a lovely fragrant Muscat flavour – pity that our retailers have largely turned their back on the variety.

Origin: Developed from a cross between Muscat x Bican by Luigi and Alberto Pirovano in 1911 in Vaprio d’Adda, Lombardy, Italy

Grown in: Italy

Harvest & Availability:
End August to November: from Italy (some late stored fruit is available into December)
