Origin: Italy. Dori was developed in a collaboration between the Universities of Udine and Bologna, which started in year 2000. Marketing and development has been controlled by Consorzio Dori Europe and Summerfruit, Castel Bolognese, Ravenna since 2013.
Grown in: Italy (in particular Lazio, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Piemonte), France, Spain, Portugal and Chile. Commercial production started in earnest in 2016.
