BebopTM is a seedless red grape. It has medium to large size oval-shaped berries. The colour of skin is a full deep pink-red. The skin is quite tough to bite and crunchy to chew, though there is very little astringency, and the crunch effect is part of the attraction of the grape. The flavour, in fruit from South Africa, is most striking as it has elements of wine grape and blackcurrant, but with plenty of sweetness, like a toned-down Brazilian Vitoria grape. The flavour is very attractive and there is a good juice content. The brix levels achieved by Bebop are high at 18-20o.
