Driscoll Eureka is an early-season blackberry with low chill requirements, so can be grown successfully in slightly warmer climates. The fruit is said to have an improved flavour, and, being reasonably firm, has good shipping characteristics.

Origin: This is one of a number of varieties bred by Driscoll Strawberry Associates, California. The female parent was Zorro, which was crossed with an unpatented male selection. Selected in 1998 and patented in 2004.
