Shelley is a round to slightly elongate apple-shaped mango with thin skin and smooth, fibreless flesh. It is a fairly small fruit with an exceptional red-blushed appearance. The stone is fairly thin and the yellow flesh is firm, buttery and has good sweetness and an attractive mild flavour.
Shelley is regarded as a mid-late season mango variety, being harvested slightly earlier than Kent.
Good Fruit Guide Rating: ****
